COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH POLYTECHNICS (C.D.T.P.)

The C.D.T.P is sponsored by the ‘Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)’, Government of India, New Delhi. It has established in 1997, named as “Community Polytechnic Scheme”, later on it was revised as “Scheme of Community Development through Polytechnics” (CDTP) by the MHRD in 2009.

  • To carryout need assessment surveys to assess the technology and training needs.
  • To impart Skill Development Training Programmes (S.D.T.P.).
  • To provide technical and support services to the rural masses and slum dwellers.
  • To create Awareness Programmes among the adventure/innovations/globalization of present needs in the globe.

3) Welding & Fabrication. 6 Months.
4) Multi-mechanic 6 Months.
5) Electrician 6 Months.
6) House Wiring & Electrical Domestic Home Appliances repairs. 6 Months.
7) Motor Rewinding 6 Months.
8) Two wheeler repairs & Servicing. 6 Months.
9) Typing. 6 Months.
10) Screen Printing. 3 Months.
11) Hollow & Solid Cement Brick making. 3 Months.
12) Tailoring &Embroidery 6 Months.
13) Painting & Doll Making. 6 Months.
14) Beautician 6 Months.
15) Mobile servicing & Repairs. 6 Months.
