The C.D.T.P is sponsored by the ‘Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)’, Government of India, New Delhi. It has established in 1997, named as “Community Polytechnic Scheme”, later on it was revised as “Scheme of Community Development through Polytechnics” (CDTP) by the MHRD in 2009.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH POLYTECHNICS (C.D.T.P.)

- To impart Skill Development Training Programmes (S.D.T.P.).
- To provide technical and support services to the rural masses and slum dwellers.
